We typically ship twice a week.
Treasure Island Books is not responsible for how the United States Postal Service (USPS) conducts its business, neither in how they assess shipping rates, their “Click-N-Ship” discounts and rebates, nor for their delivery times and methods.
Treasure Island Books cannot reasonably be held responsible for any delays of a package's delivery caused by the United States Postal Service (USPS), the postal system of any foreign country, the Customs Departments of the USA or any foreign country, any military authority, any other legal authority as necessary, inclement weather, or the increased postal traffic during the
year-end holiday season.
Our shipping fees, including discounts, are subject to change without notice.
We make every effort to keep this information up-to-date but there may be instances when this is not immediately possible.
Our shipping fees will be as close to the actual USPS charge as possible, including USPS “Click-N-Ship” discounts
where applicable.
If the difference between what we quoted and charged you for shipping and the actual cost of shipping, including “Click-N-Ship” discounts if applicable, is less than $1.00, we will absorb the difference.
If it is $1.00 or more, we will contact you for your decision to send the necessary additional postage or cancel the order.
If the difference between what we quoted and charged you for shipping is more than $1.00 of the actual cost,
we will promptly refund you the difference, either via Paypal or our company check.
Large and/or heavy books may require higher postage than what you may expect, especially if shipped via a method other than USPS Media Mail within the USA.
In our shipping quote, we'll let you know if this is necessary.
We've made every effort to identify our large and/or heavy books in their descriptions; if some are not,
we apologize for any oversight.
We are required by law to attach a USA Customs form to all packages being shipped outside the USA.
We are required by law to attach a USA Customs form to all military addresses, such as APOs and FPOs, even if those addresses' ultimate destinations are within the USA.
The actual amount charged for the merchandise will be recited on the USA Customs form along with “Other” or “Merchandise” indicated as the package's contents.
Under no circumstances will we mark the contents of a package on the USA Customs form as “Gift.”
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information, including full name
and shipping address of the addressee.
Foreign addresses must include the full name of the city and state/province fully spelled out as well as postal codes.
Treasure Island Books cannot reasonably be held responsible for packages returned to us due to incorrect address information provided by customers, nor can we reasonably be held responsible for delays in shipping due to the need of verifying addresses.
